Diagnostilab: a software team for the DGLAB LIS
DGLAB is Diagnostilab’s LIS for the clinical laboratories it serves. Our team improves it, maintains it and supports its users.
Overview
Diagnostilab is a company from Sincelejo, Colombia, that since 1998 has supplied biomedical equipment and in vitro diagnostic reagents to clinical laboratories across the country. Besides equipment and supplies, it gives those laboratories DGLAB, its laboratory information system (LIS).
A LIS is part of a lab’s daily operation: if it stops, orders and results stop. Since 2026 we have worked with Diagnostilab as staff augmentation: our team joins theirs to improve DGLAB, keep it stable, support the laboratories that use it and cover their other software development needs.
What DGLAB does
DGLAB supports the clinical laboratory’s work from start to finish:
Orders and patients
Registration of patients and test orders.
Analyzer interfaces
Receives results directly from the laboratory’s analyzers.
Validation and reports
The lab professional validates results and the system produces the reports.
Results portal
Patients and doctors check results online.
